Want to learn how to paint a fun nerdy picture? Join Dezi, local pop culture artist in a hands on “how to” class where you’ll learn a few skills on painting.

We provide the canvas, paint, brushes and supplies, you just bring yourself! This panel is free of charge, but is limited to the first 30 attendees.

Messy Warning: Since we will be using acrylic paint, there is a chance the paint might stain your clothes if it gets on you. Smocks will not be provided.

We attended over 40 conventions last year and want to share our knowledge. This panel will be an informative powerpoint presentation going over the various types of fan conventions, tips of attending them, and various cool things about them. It will not be promoting any specific convention (except causeacon), but will talk about how someone might go about finding and choosing conventions.

Say hello to the cute dogs from the Humane Society in this adorable pup fashion show. Each animal that appears on stage not only wears a fun cosplay but are all eligable for adoption and are in need of good homes. You can meet the dogs after the show to learn more about them.

Have Social Anxiety? Love to cosplay? Do you maybe feel too scared to talk to your peers while at a convention? Have no fear! This panel is here to help you! We talk you through why it is easy to socialize and give you tools to make it even easier! We focus on accessibility to those who may struggle with communication and/or talking to others at a convention. We help to share our experiences and remind those attending that we are all here for to celebrate fandom and cosplay so having a conversation should be easy and fun– not scary!

Welcome to the Causeacon charity auction! Businesses, sponsors, vendors and artists have been donating items for us to auction during Causeacon to help raise money for our local AWAY center. As more items are sent to us, we will be posting pictures and descriptions of what they are.

The Causeacon’s Charity Auction will take place Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1:30 PM (before the cosplay contest). Cash is preferred for the auction, but card is also accepted.

The love game is based off the 1965 tv show The Dating Game. Audience members can choose to participate buy writing down their name and putting it in the bowl to be randomly selected. 4 participants will be chosen per round, A Questioner and 3 Potential Dates. The questioner will not see their potential dates as there will be a screen to make it anonymous. From there on it’s pretty simple: there will be a list of questions the Questioner can choose from to ask their potential dates, after about 5-10 questions (depending on how many people attend) they will choose one of the 3 dates and they’ll meet! It’s a fun way to meet people and see what characters from different genres would match!
