Causeacon® is Beckley’s first ever Pop Culture convention which includes all fandoms from anime to Star Wars, gaming and so much more! The best part about Causeacon is that it is a charity convention where we raise money to help benefit AWAY. AWAY is a non-profit that advocates and provides shelter for victims, their children, and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Raleigh, Fayette, Nicholas, and Summers County. AWAY (f/k/a-Women’s Resource Center) has been part of this community since 1984. All services we provide are free and confidential.

We will be offering a variety of activities at our new location, The Beckley-Raleigh County Convention Center including: cosplay contests, video game and table top tournaments, vendor room, panels and classes, anime screening room, game shows, raves and a formal ball! You can benefit this community just by attending and having a great time!

Causeacon Hours of Operation

Causeacon® provides all kinds of programming for our guests including: cosplay, video game tournaments, panels, vendors, the galactic rave, otaku bingo, table top tournaments, special guests, the cosplay ball and more.

Enjoy hours of video games, arcade, table top gaming and tournaments during the convention.

The Vendor Room offers tons of collectables, apparel, funkos, anime figures, art and crafts for sale.

Join us Friday night for our Fantasy Masquerade or take it up a notch on Saturday night for the Galactic Rave.

Partake in entertainment from bands, performers and celebrities on our Main Stage.

Everyone is open to cosplay their favorite characters at Causeacon or to enter our Cosplay Contest.

Try your hand at free game shows including bingo, trivia and more through out the weekend.
